The bathroom is probably one of the most overlooked rooms in the house. But do you know we spend at least two hours in the bathroom over the course of a week? We have read some horror stories about people keeping their bathmats and not washing them the entire year. Can you imagine the amount of germs those bathmats have collected? Gross! Bathmats need to be changed out at least once a week. Make sure you have a few spare ones to rotate around so you would always have one clean mat to switch out with.

4. Bath Towels

Many of us overlook this, but bath towels need to be replaced every week. When you wipe your body, you are also wiping away dead skin cells, body oils and the lot. After a week, it all starts to build up and if you don’t wash your towels frequently, you might start breaking out or developing some serious skin issues. We aren’t kidding.

Loofahs are a blessing because it’s your best friend when you’re too lazy to scrub your body down and it helps you remove all the dead skin cells. It has a two-in-one purpose! However, since it is removing all the dirt and dead skin cells from your body, all that builds up. Therefore, it is best that you replace these loofahs every three weeks. Also, the fact that the toilet is always warm and damp, this contributes to the multiplication of germs. Imagine all that dirt going back onto your body! Always make sure you replace them.
